Hallucidate - What?

Let me explain. Okay, I'll do that -later. For now, just contemplate the two words: hallucinate, and elucidate. They really do go together - at least, I put them together, so maybe we can figure it out, as I indicated, later.

Promptings

I suppose that what prompted me to 'blog' was the ongoing realization that I have, in my possession, 'tons' of material that has been gleaned from 'tons' of websites, and blogs, that I would like many friends and acquaintances to see, hear, and read. It is just not possible for me to give each of those people a 'hard-copy' of the material I so desperately wish to share.
Now, lest anyone might suggest that I am trying to 'evangelize', or 'propagandize', or 'proseletize' anyone, let me be quick to point out that that is precisely the case. For that I do not apologize. You, and I mean You, have that same opportunity, as I see it. So, why not? Ultimately, the issue is Truth, which I do not expect that any of us has a 'corner' on. The best we can do is establish a foundation for 'truth' and build on that foundation. More, later, on what that foundation should be. I bet you can guess!

Initial Post

Yes, here I am! This is my first post to my new weblog. I will have a lot to say - some of what I have will be personal notes and observations, as well as quotes from others. I will link to sites, and blogs, that are of particular interest to me. Hopefully, I will be able to embed some interesting YouTube videos, with emphasis on those that espouse my own 'theological leanings'. More about that later. Be warned, also, that not much of what I have is original with me. I'm not very imaginative. I may also include some photos that are relevant to a particular post. We shall see.
